Triton Buys Garden-Fertilizer Brand From K+S for EU205 Million

Triton Beteiligungsberatung GmbH agreed to buy Compo from K+S AG in a deal valued at 205 million euros ($293 million) to add the garden-fertilizer unit to its investments.

The transaction will result in a cash inflow for K+S of about 150 million euros, Kassel, Germany-based K+S said in a statement today. The transaction will result in a book loss of about 90 million euros, the company said.
