Canon to Invest NT$30 Billion in Taiwan, Economic Daily Reports

Canon Group plans to invest NT$30 billion to build two plants in Taiwan, the Taipei-based Economic Daily News reported, without saying where it got the information. The Japanese group began construction of a plant to make digital cameras in Taichung, central Taiwan, yesterday, the newspaper said.
