South Korea May Crude Oil Imports Rise 4.1 Percent by Volume

South Korea, Asia’s fourth-largest crude-oil buyer, boosted May imports of the fuel by 4.1 percent compared with a year earlier, the smallest increase since October 2010, government data show.

Shipments rose to 79.2 million barrels from 76.1 million barrels a year earlier, the Ministry of Knowledge Economy said in an e-mailed statement today.
