IMF, EU Want Portugal to Reduce More Pensions, Diario Reports

The International Monetary Fund, European Commission and European Central Bank want Portugal to reduce more pensions than planned previously by the government, Diario Economico reported, citing an unidentified person.
The government had proposed measures including a reduction in pensions of more than 1,500 euros a month, the Portuguese newspaper reported. The IMF, Commission and ECB are now studying cutting pensions of more than 600 euros, acccording to Diario.
