EDF Terminates Involvement in Carbon Project in Honduras

The trading unit of Electricite de France SA said it will terminate its involvement in a project to receive credits under the United Nation’s Clean Development Mechanism for the Aguan biogas project in Honduras.

“We take a responsible appraoch to our CDM portfolio,” said John Rittenhouse, chief executive officer at EDF Trading.
