Syria Releases Rights Activist Suhair Atassi, Al Watan Says

Syria released yesterday Suhair Atassi, a relative of former president Nureddin Atassi who was deposed in a 1970 coup, Al Watan newspaper said without mentioning where it got the information.
Atassi was detained last month during a protest in front of the Interior Ministry, the newspaper said.
