U.K.’s Hunt ‘Confident’ BSkyB Plan Strengthens Media Plurality

The U.K. culture minister Jeremy Hunt said today he is “confident” that News Corp.’s proposed undertakings in its bid to take over the rest of British Sky Broadcasting Group Plc will strengthen media plurality. The U.K. government is currently considering responses to the undertakings.

Hunt spoke today at a committee meeting with lawmakers.
