Global Investors Buy Net 3.93 Billion Rupees of Indian Stocks

Overseas investors bought a net 3.93 billion rupees ($87.5 million) of Indian stocks yesterday, reducing their outflow from equities this year to 73.9 billion rupees, the nation’s market regulator said.

Foreigners purchased 19.3 billion rupees of shares and sold 15.4 billion rupees, the Securities and Exchange Board of India said today. They bought a net 2.38 billion rupees of bonds, taking total purchases in debt this year to 127.1 billion rupees.
