Pemex CEO Boosts Oil Production Forecast for This Year

Petroleos Mexicanos, the state-owned oil company, expects 2011 oil production to be more than 2.6 million barrels a day, said Chief Executive Officer Juan Jose Suarez Coppel.
Suarez Coppel spoke today in Ciudad del Carmen in Mexico’s Campeche state, during a ceremony to commemorate the 73rd anniversary of the nation’s expropriation of foreign oil assets.
