Japan Death Toll Hits 6,911, Surpassing 1995 Kobe Earthquake, NHK Reports

Japan’s official death toll from last week’s earthquake and tsunami has risen to 6,911, surpassing the 6,434 fatalities caused by the 1995 Kobe earthquake, NHK reported, citing police figures.
