Attijariwafa Bank, the Moroccan lender with operations in 10 African nations, opened its first branch in Mauritania during a ceremony held yesterday in Nouakchott, the capital.
Finance Minister Thiam Diombar and Sid’ahmed Ould Rayess, governor of the northwest African nation’s central bank, attended the opening. No details were given on how many branches the lender plans to open.
