Egypt Army Meets to ‘Protect the Nation’, Declaration 1 Says

Egypt’s top military body decided today it will stay in permanent session in response to the “legitimate” demands of the Egyptian people, according to the below statement, referred to as “Declaration 1.” The information ministry provided a translation of the statement today by e-mail.
