Natural gas futures may advance next week as colder weather eliminates a surplus of gas in storage, a Bloomberg News survey showed.
Nine of 19 analysts, or 47 percent, forecast that gas futures will rise on the New York Mercantile Exchange through Feb. 11. Five, or 26 percent, said futures will fall and five predicted that prices will stay the same. Last week, 53 percent of participants said gas prices would decline.
