Geithner to Visit Brazil Next Week to Discuss G-20

Treasury Secretary Timothy F. Geithner will travel to Brazil on Feb. 7 to discuss bilateral and Group of 20 issues with senior government officials in South America’s largest country.

Geithner will meet with officials in Brasilia, the capital, before traveling to Sao Paulo to talk with local business leaders and economists, the Treasury Department said in a statement today. Geithner will also hold a discussion with university students in Sao Paulo.
