Erdogan Says Turkey Sides With the Egyptian People

Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said Turkey sides with the people of Egypt as protests sweep their country, saying the era of governments surviving on repression was over.
“No government can survive against the will of its people,” Erdogan said in an address to his party at the Turkish parliament in Ankara today. “The era of governments persisting on pressure and repression is over.”
