Crude oil rose in New York, reversing an earlier drop of as much as 1.2 percent.

Crude oil futures for March delivery climbed 9 cents to $92.28 a barrel at 9:38 a.m. on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Oil earlier fell as low as $91.06.
