Demonstrators in Senegal surrounded the home of President Abdoulaye Wade’s family last night to protest against a series of power outages on the outskirts of the capital, Dakar, Le Pop reported.
Anti-riot police broke up the demonstration, in which protesters threw stones, burned tires and blocked streets around the residence, the Dakar-based newspaper said.
