Serbia’s civil aviation authority issued licenses to Italy’s low-cost Eagles Airlines, Croatia Airlines and to Egypt’s Nesma Airlines to launch seasonal flights to Belgrade.

The Italian carrier will fly twice a week between Belgrade and Bologna, while the Nesma Airlines is to operate charter flights between the Serbian capital and the Red Sea resort of Hurghada, both from mid-April to the end of October, said Katarina Andric-Milosavljevic, a spokesperson for Serbia’s Civil Aviation Directorate.
