Obama Spokesman Urges Restraint by All Parties in Egypt

The Obama administration urged all parties to refrain from violence and said in a statement that Egyptian authorities have a chance to “be responsive to the aspirations of the Egyptian people.”
The U.S. supports the rights of Egyptians to assemble and speak their minds, the statement from White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said.
