A.P. Moeller-Maersk A/S rose to the highest price in more than two years in Copenhagen trading after the world’s largest container line said the global market will grow more than previously forecast.

The container market may expand more than 8 percent this year, compared with Maersk’s November forecast for global growth of 6 percent, Chief Executive Officer Nils Smedegaard Andersen said late yesterday in an interview. Maersk shares gained 800 kroner, or 1.5 percent, to 54,000 kroner, the highest close since September 2008.
