BRIC Creator Adds Mexico, South Korea, Turkey to List, FT Says

Jim O’Neill, who coined the term BRIC to describe a group that comprises Brazil, Russia India and China, plans to redefine emerging markets and will explain the new approach to clients this month, the Financial Times reported.
O’Neill, the chairman of Goldman Sachs Asset Management, plans to add Mexico, South Korea, Turkey and Indonesia into a new grouping with the BRIC economies that he calls growth markets, the FT reported, citing comments from O’Neill.
