‘Ruby’ Never Had Sex With Silvio Berlusconi, Repubblica Says
Karima el-Mahrough, the Moroccan woman known as ‘Ruby’ at the center of a Milan court investigation, said she has never had sexual relations with Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, daily la Repubblica reported citing an interview.
“I’ve never done anything,” Ruby told Repubblica. “Silvio gave me 7,000 euros ($9,372) only because I asked him help to find a job. The rest isn’t true.”
The probe is targeting the premier for his alleged involvement in prostitution with a minor and abuse of power, prosecutors said yesterday. There were “never sexual relations, only an acquaintance without an intimate nature” with Ruby, Niccolo Ghedini, one of Berlusconi’s lawyers, said in a statement yesterday.
