Norway Gas Output Climbed 9% in December, Crude Fell

Norway, the second-biggest exporter of natural gas, said output of the fuel rose 9 percent in December from a year earlier, as oil production fell 9.2 percent.

Gas output rose to 10.9 billion cubic meters from 10.0 billion and oil production dropped to 1.814 million barrels a day from 1.998 million, according to preliminary figures today from the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate. Norway pumped 324,000 barrels a day of condensate and natural-gas liquids.
