MetLife Seeks Treasurer After Moving Goulart to Investment Job

MetLife Inc., the biggest U.S. life insurer, is searching for a treasurer after the firm moved Steven Goulart, who also heads mergers and acquisitions, to an investment position.

“Steve Goulart recently was named the head of the portfolio management unit in MetLife’s investments department,” Christopher Breslin, a spokesman for New York-based MetLife, said in an e-mail late yesterday. “Until a new treasurer and head of M&A is identified, Steve continues to serve as treasurer and have oversight of MetLife’s M&A department.”
