Jets Give NBC Best Ratings for Primetime Saturday Wildcard Game

The New York Jets’ 17-16 win over the Indianapolis Colts gave NBC Universal Inc. the biggest television audience for a National Football League wildcard game broadcast during primetime on a Saturday.
Yesterday’s game had a 20.8 overnight rating and 33 percent share, making it the most-watched wildcard game on a Saturday since the 1999 season, NBC said in an e-mailed statement today.
