Deep Ocean Power Philippines Inc., a developer of marine energy projects, plans to set up wind and solar farms at 36 sites, the Philippine Daily Inquirer reported yesterday, citing Jonathan Wong, the company’s vice president for project development.
The sites have been approved for ocean energy development. Each site could be used for onshore and offshore wind farms and solar energy if they are suitable, Wong said.
