First Solar Sells Projects in Canada, Announces Partner in China

First Solar Inc., the world’s largest thin-film solar module maker, sold three pre-construction projects in Canada and named a developer for a plant in China.
Tempe, Arizona-based First Solar said today that Plutonic Power Corp. and GE Energy Financial Services will buy three power plants totaling 50-megawatts that are scheduled to begin construction in Ontario in mid-2011.
