Neo Daniel Moroka, the managing director of De Beers Botswana, was hospitalized after being attacked by a lion yesterday on his farm in Tsabong, west of the capital, Gaborone.
Moroka was scratched by the lion and is now in a “stable condition and recovering,” Chipo Morapedi, a spokeswoman for De Beers, said by phone today. She denied a report on state-owned Botswana Television late yesterday that his condition was “critical.”
