Indonesia 2010 Coal Production Increases, Tin Drops

Indonesia’s coal production is estimated to have risen 8.3 percent in 2010 from a year earlier to 275 million metric tons, the Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry said in a statement today.
Refined tin output may have fallen 25 percent to 78,965 tons this year, while copper output gained 14 percent to 989,953 tons, the statement said. Indonesia is the world’s largest tin and thermal coal exporter.
