Global Investors Buy Net 23.5 Billion Rupees of Indian Stocks

Global funds bought a net 23.5 billion rupees ($524 million) of Indian equities yesterday taking this year’s flows into equities to 1.33 trillion rupees, according to the Securities and Exchange Board of India.
Investors purchased 46.7 billion rupees of shares and sold 23.2 billion rupees, data from the market regulator show. They sold a net 6.04 billion rupees of bonds, paring debt purchases this year to 464 billion rupees. Stock purchases this year include 389 billion rupees from the primary market.
