Iceland’s President Olafur R. Grimsson said he’ll decide by February whether a depositor claims settlement with the U.K. and Netherlands should be put to a referendum.

“These questions will not become acute until some time in late January, early February,” once parliament has discussed the deal, Grimsson said in an interview in Abu Dhabi today. The bill “has just been introduced into parliament, the committee hasn’t even started to deal with it.”
