Poland to Halt 665 Megawatts of Capacity This Weekend, Grid Says

Poland will halt 665 megawatts of coal-fired power capacity at two plants this weekend, according to data from grid operator PSE Operator SA.

Two generators with a combined capacity of 440 megawatts at Elektrownia Rybnik, owned by Electricite de France SA, will be halted. One will stop at the end of today, and the other at the end of tomorrow. They will restart at the end of Dec. 19, the data show.
