Croatia’s Premier Jadranka Kosor to Shuffle Cabinet, TV Reports

Croatian Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor will replace five ministers in her government by the end of the year, Croatian state TV reported, citing a member of the ruling coalition.

“The moment has come, and Prime Minister Kosor has our support,” Milorad Pupovac, leader of the Independent Democratic Serb Party, told TV late last night. The party is one of the coalition partners of Kosor’s Croatian Democratic Union.

Finance Minister Ivan Suker, who is also a deputy premier, Defense Minister Branko Vukelic and Transport Minister Bozidar Kalmeta will be among those replaced, as Kosor prepares for the election year in 2011, TV reported.
