Uruguay’s Economy Expanded 7.9% in Third Quarter

Uruguay’s gross domestic product rose 7.9 percent in the third quarter from the same period a year earlier, the central bank said.
GDP expanded 1 percent from the previous quarter and 8.8 percent in the first nine months of the year from the same period in 2009, the bank said in a report on its website.
