Turkey’s main share index declined for the first time this week after Moody’s Investors Service put Spain’s debt rating on review for a possible downgrade, reducing appetite for riskier emerging-market assets.

The ISE National 100 dropped 821.33, or 1.2 percent, to 65,688.38 as of 12:57 p.m. in Istanbul. The lira depreciated 0.4 percent to 1.5189 per dollar. A close at that level would be the weakest since Aug. 31.
