Croatian lawmakers probably will adopt a law today that allows authorities to seize property acquired as a result of a criminal offense, another step in fighting corruption and organized crime.

Croatian parties on Dec. 13 endorsed the bill that would allow the courts to freeze all assets of the accused before and during the criminal procedure, according to the draft of the bill.
