Egypt’s Finance Ministry May Invest in Refinery, Masry Says

Egypt’s Finance Ministry is studying investing in Egyptian Refining Co.’s $3.7 billion refinery, Al Masry Al Youm reported, citing Amr El-Garhy, vice chairman of the state-run National Investment Bank.

The ministry, represented by the bank and the country’s Health Insurance Authority, will in the next two weeks decide on the possible size of the stake, the newspaper cited El-Garhy as saying.
