Serbia’s November Budget Has Surprise Surplus on Higher Revenue

Serbia had a 3.15 billion-dinar ($39.7 million) budget surplus in November due to higher tax revenue and dividends from state stakes in companies.
Revenue rose to 69.06 billion dinars from 59.18 billion dinars in October on increased excise duties that had been deferred in previous months, the Finance Ministry in Belgrade said on its website today. Serbia had a budget gap of 14.68 billion dinars in October and 11.98 billion dinars in September.
