Spanish Tariff Deficit to Grow 30% in 2011, Economista Says

Spain’s tariff deficit, the difference between the government-fixed price for electrical power and the cost of generating it, will grow by 5.4 billion euros ($7.1 billion) next year, El Economista reported.

The total accumulated deficit will amount to 22 billion euros, the newspaper reported, without saying where it got the information.
