Actis’s Rwandan Bank Says Nine-Month Profit Increased Four-Fold

Banque Commerciale du Rwanda, a lender owned by Actis LLP, increased profit almost four-fold in the nine months through September on reduced costs and higher revenue, Managing Director Sanjeev Anand said.
Net income climbed to 1.7 billion Rwandan francs ($2.9 million) from 433 million francs a year earlier, Anand said in an interview today in the capital, Kigali. Revenue rose 12 percent to 8.5 billion francs, he said.
