Saudi Arabia’s Interior Minister Prince Nayef bin Abdulaziz will head the Saudi delegation to the Gulf Cooperation Council summit in Abu Dhabi this month, Arab News reported, without saying where it got the information.
He is leading the delegation on behalf of King Abdullah, the Jeddah-based newspaper said.
King Abdullah underwent a second operation on Dec. 3 in New York to repair several vertebrae, the Saudi Press Agency said, citing a statement from the Royal Court. The 86-year-old king will start physical therapy, the Riyadh-based news service said.
