Suntech Power Targets 30% Increase in 2011 Shipments

Suntech Power Holdings Co., the world’s largest solar panel maker, aims to increase shipments next year by about 30 percent to meet demand from markets including Europe, Chief Executive Officer Shi Zhengrong said.
“Next year looks very encouraging,” Shi said in an interview in Sydney today, adding that demand is also expected to rise in the U.S. and Japan. “So far the market looks good.”
