Supertanker Market Has Less Chance of Demand Push, Imarex Says

Imarex Asia Pte, a unit of freight derivatives broker Imarex ASA, comments in an e-mailed report today on supply and demand for supertankers to load 2 million-barrel cargoes of Middle East oil.
Rental income from shipments on the industry’s benchmark Saudi Arabia-to-Japan route have declined 23 percent this week to $23,859 a day, according to the London-based Baltic Exchange.
