Ireland may start to receive money from the European Union and the International Monetary Fund aid package in January, according to Luxembourg’s Jean-Claude Juncker, who leads the group of euro-area finance ministers.
“We have the expectation that the program under way will be settled by the end of this month,” Juncker told reporters in Luxembourg today. “I would guess that the first money shipping could be realized in the course of January.”
