Japan Says YouTube Video of China Boat Crash Probably Genuine

Japan’s Foreign Minister Seiji Maehara said a video posted on YouTube is probably authentic footage of the September collision between a Chinese trawler and Japanese Coast Guard vessels that derailed diplomatic ties.
“From what I’ve seen, it looks like the footage came from the Coast Guard,” Maehara told reporters in Tokyo today. China has inquired about the video and expressed concern, he said.
