CBS Says TV Ad Prices Are Up 35% From Ads Bought Before Season

CBS Corp. Chief Executive Officer Leslie Moonves said prices for TV commercials in the so-called scatter market are 35 percent higher this quarter than prices for ads bought in advance of the current TV season.

Moonves made the comment about comparisons with the so-called upfront market on the company’s third-quarter earnings conference call today.
