     Sept. 16 (Bloomberg) -- Chip Besse, founder Grand Adventures LLC, talks with Bloomberg's Emmitt Henry about the difficulties he encountered when trying to secure a small-business loan for his company, which rents snowmobiles and arranges tours.
     Besse figured he could hire a dozen people once he got a $1.1 million small-business loan for Grand Adventures in Winter Park, Colorado. Wells Fargo & Co., along with 16 other lenders, turned him down in 2008 and 2009, even though Besse had a credit score of 769 out of 850 and $185,000 in a checking account. (Source: Bloomberg)
