Obama Will Tell U.S. Students to Work Hard in School and Life

President Barack Obama will tell the nation’s schoolchildren today that the effort they put into their educations now will be the biggest influence on their future success.

In his second annual address to students at the start of the school year, Obama will tell students at the Julia R. Masterman Laboratory and Demonstration School in Philadelphia that “life is what you make of it” and achievement comes to those who put in the effort.
