New Zealand beat Australia 23-22 in the final Tri-Nations match to seal an unprecedented clean sweep in the southern hemisphere rugby championship with a record 10th straight win over the Wallabies.

All Blacks captain Richie McCaw and No. 8 Kieran Read got second-half tries at Sydney’s ANZ Stadium last night as New Zealand rallied after trailing 22-9. Scrum-half Piri Weepu kicked all five of his attempts at goal, while Australia’s Matt Giteau missed four of his seven kicks.
