Newark’s Airport Among Eight in U.S. Getting Full-Body Scanners

Newark Liberty International in New Jersey is among eight U.S. airports getting their first full-body scanners to detect bombs under passengers’ clothing, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano said today.
Airports for Los Angeles/Ontario County, St. Louis and Portland, Oregon, are also targeted for additional machines, Napolitano said in a statement.
